Administrative/Marketing Assistant (Part Time)

Beacon Economics is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to assist with special projects and a wide variety of administrative and marketing tasks. Some travel may be required. Minimum 18-22 hours per week expected. Competitive salary, flexible/independent working conditions, and opportunity for advancement.


Duties include but are not limited to:

Administrative – General administrative and organizational duties; assist with forms processing; update/maintain filing systems; assist with billing and expense reporting; track, order, and organize inventory; general office maintenance and organization; assist with scheduling or coordinating meetings or making travel arrangements; update calendar for firm partners or others as needed; keep workplace tidy; install software onto computers; research and work with outside vendors or contractors; correspond with clients or other contacts; answer phones, manage switchboard, and take messages.

Marketing – Assist with list building and conducting competitive and client research; help maintain and administer contact management database; monitor media coverage and compile media reports; update and maintain media lists; assist with analyzing website usage and statistics; assist with development of social media community; research information upon request of management; assist with special projects including marketing, business development, and public relations campaigns; assist with managing and coordinating internal and external events.
