Lorna WallaceDr. Lorna Wallace is an expert in international business, with an emphasis on the impact of foreign direct investment on job creation and the competitiveness of subnational, national, and regional economies. She designs, develops and performs research on international strategy, technology transfers, clustering and trade issues, particularly determining the relationship among the triad of global trade: imports, exports, and foreign direct investment. Dr. Wallace develops realistic, implementable public policy recommendations that are applicable across industries. Her extensive work experience spans both the private and public sectors and includes working for the Canadian Consulate in New York City during the NAFTA negations, and serving as a senior advisor to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development in Geneva, Switzerland. She has traveled, taught, lectured, and lived in Europe, Asia, and North America. Her professional and academic awards include the Academic Distinction Award; Walter C. Russell Award for Academic Achievement; Center for International Business Economic Research Award; Best Student Paper Award, International Trade and Finance Association; and the John H. Dunning Excellence Fellowship Award. Dr. Wallace earned her MBA and Ph.D. in international business from Rutgers University. |
