Clarissa Paik is a Research Analyst at Beacon Economics, LLC. Ms. Paik is responsible for supporting a wide variety of the firm's projects and initiatives including creating presentation materials and conducting data analysis. Recently, she has been a primary contributor to the development of an economic recovery and resiliency plan for the City and County of San Francisco and to an analysis of the assets and challenges facing communities surrounding the I-710 corridor in Southern California. Her recent work has also involved developing publications on regional economies, including Beacon Economics' Regional Outlook and Regional Intelligence Reports. Additionally, she authored an in-depth report on the economic effects of the Los Angeles marijuana industry. Prior to being hired as a Research Analyst, Ms Paik was an intern with the firm. She formerly worked as a student assistant at the California Employment Development Department’s tax office in Anaheim. Ms. Paik holds a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of California, Riverside. .
