Kimberly Marx-Steele is Research Manager at Beacon Economics, LLC. Ms. Marx-Steele is responsible for managing and overseeing the development of the firm's publications and presentations in addition to providing guidance and analytic support on a wide variety of principal research projects. She has specialized expertise in regional economics and financial modeling for public revenue forecasting.

Prior to joining Beacon Economics, Ms. Marx-Steele served as a financial analyst and a management analyst with HdL Companies, a leading provider of public sector data and analysis. While at HdL, she modeled and forecasted sales, use, and transactions tax revenues for cities, counties, and special districts. She also developed and managed ad hoc financial analyses and collaborated with California tax officials. Ms. Marx-Steele holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California, an M.A. degree in Sociology from the University of California, Irvine, and a B.A. degree in Sociology from California State University Dominguez Hills.
